St. Paul's American Legion Post 145

CALENDAR 1 February 2025–31 JANUARY 2026 (AS of 25 Jan 2025)

Five activities occur each month on the same week days of each month. Two activities continue throughout the year without specific dates. One activity continues throughout the year on both specific dates and on an as-needed basis.  One activity occurs every Saturday and Sunday throughout the year at 0800 and 1800. Any changes will be posted here and/or on our FACEBOOK page,

1. 1. Post Breakfasts-the first Friday after each Post Business Meeting 0800-0930 EFFECTIVE 14 MARCH 2025
   2. Post Business Meetings-second Tuesday of each month (11 February, 11 March, 8 April, 13 May, 10 June, 8 July, 12 August, 9 September, 14 October, 11 November, 9 December, 13 January)
   3. Veterans Trauma Counseling: Third Monday each month, 1500-1600 provided by the Veterans Administration; additional sessions as scheduled
   4. Veterans Benefits Assistance: Benefits advice 1500-1600 third Monday each month, and/or when Post is open Friday mornings 0800-1030, or by calling 843-709-7523
   5. Federal Food Supplement Distribution- usually the third Tuesday of each month 1315-1545 (18 February, 18 March, 15 April, 20 May, 17 June, 15 July, 19 August, 16 September, 14 October, 18 November, 16 December, 20 January)
   6. Hollywood Green Food Distribution-third Saturday of each month 0900-1130 (15 February, 15 March, 19 April, 17 May, 21 June, 19 July, 16 August, 20 September, 18 October, 22 November, 20 December, 17 January)
   7. Collect for Victory House: January through 30 November; quarterly trips to deliver personal grooming and clothing items; 12 December to deliver gifts to every resident of Victory House.
   8. Veterans Graves Project: Identification, geolocation and reporting of Veteran gravesites, repair of gravestones, assistance with burial benefits, year-round.
   1. Meggett Roxbury Park: Post 145 opens and closes the park every Saturday and Sunday. Members are urged to volunteer for this Community activity.

3. 15 March: American Legion Birthday
4. 24 March: Selected Palmetto Boys/Girls State candidates and parents/guardians complete online permissions
5. 25 March: File Post income tax forms with IRS
